Management and the WCRT (Windy City Round Table), Chicago lands premier
real estate investment group, is doing in Chicago Heights. Located there is
the 85 year old Jones Community Memorial Center situated next to vacant
lot. The owners of this real estate sold the parcel to the Jones Center for
a nominal fee. The Jones Center wanted to develop this area into a park
consisting of a playground, baseball field, multi-activity field, exercise
path, and a family picnic area, but did not have the financial capacity to
do so.

Management, the WCRT, and several other private organizations have stepped
in to make this dream a reality in spring 2006. The project is a community
based effort allowing the people of the neighborhood to work with the Center
in building and maintaining this new park. What happens in the future is
simple; the community supported park will drive down crime, while boosting
