Held Mortgage Notes -
Sell or Hold?
Is
holding a mortgage note a prudent decision? Yes, they do provide a steady
income stream at a guaranteed interest rate, only if your payer maintains
payments. They do create a management headache. However, do they provide
you the best rate of return, and access to available cash? No, they do
not. What are you options? Consider selling your note for cash and higher
earning power for your investments. To see what your note is worth fill out
our
‘Request A Note’ form for a free no obligation quote.
Just how
powerful of an investment is your note? We have created an investment

Management offers several selling options to note holders. Options range
from partial to full
note purchases. Notes may be non-seasoned (1 to 12 months old),
seasoned (more than 12 months), or newly created (Simultaneous
Close). Additionally, we will purchase individual notes, or note
portfolios.
Still not sure, or want to learn more
about the power of selling your notes then...

On
July 21, 2005, Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich signed Illinois House Bill 4050 into
law, greatly expanding government regulation of mortgage loans originated in
Cook County, Ill. The new law, which amends the Residential Real Property
Disclosure Act, creates a government pilot program under which every
mortgage loan application completed in the pilot program area (yet to be
determined) will be submitted to an online database that will determine
whether the applicant is in need of credit counseling, and if so, the
applicant will be required to meet with a credit counselor, at the expense
of the mortgage broker or originator who accepted the application, before
proceeding with the loan transaction. Mortgage industry groups such as the
Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association argue that the new law imposes an
undue burden on loan brokers and originators and unfairly infringes on the
civil liberties of consumers.
